May TBR

Sadly I haven't been reading as much as I hoped I would. Unfortunately I also had a lot of College reading that needed to be finished. That is why I had no time to read, what I wanted to. This month is no different than the two before this one. I still have a few books that I have to read for College, that is why I decided, that I will put these in my May-TBR. If I have time, I will also try to read at least one book, that I choose.

For the May-TBR I will read the following books:

1. Lukas Bärfus: Koala (German)
2. Feridun Zaimoglu: Isabel (German)
3.Deborah Lawrenson:The Lantern (English)

These are all the Books that I am planning to finish this Month. I have some unfinished books, which I carry with me in my bag, so maybe I will finish more than 3 :).
I will keep you updated!

How about you, do you have any recommendations for me? Which Book are you reading right now?

February TBR

Reading is my passion and for a long time I have been neglecting it. Apart from the to-read list by my literature classes, I haven't been reading enough!

In my last Blog post, I mentioned that I am reading more and I have made myself the promise to read at least 4 books in a month (comics and mangas included).

So I will be publishing my Monthly TBR (to be read) lists and afterwards I will let you know, how it's going and if I liked those books!

So for this Month’s TBR I have chosen:

1.      City of Ashes by Cassandra Clarke (2nd Book in the Mortal Instruments series),
2.      Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling,
3.      Life of Pi by Yann Martel,
4.       The Fellowship of the Ring by  J.R.R. Tolkien,
5.      Graphic Novel: Final Crisis Aftermath: Dance #1 (DC COMICS)

As for my list, I have been really excited to read these books, especially Life of Pi and the Graphic Novel. These are books, that at some point I started reading, but couldn't get through because of the wrong time or I just didn't feel like reading them yet.
But now it just feels right to read them, so hopefully I will read all of them!
The month is short but, I have already read some pages of Harry Potter and The Fellowship of the Ring, so I am not too worried.
Even if I have some exams and term papers to write, I will find the time to read!

I will let you guys now, how it goes!

How about you, do you have monthly TBR’s and do you always read all of the books on you list? Let me know!:)

Lots of love,

Random changes post

I haven't been blogging or writing lately, since I have been overwhelmed with my work as a teacher, being a University student and taking care of the household chores.

Yes, I am an adult. Even though, I absolutely do not feel that way.

A lot of things have changed for me in these past months. Most of these things have made me grow into a better person; though there is still some work to be done.

Many people, that have affected me or my life negatively, are now not in it anymore. It has saddened me and sometimes I do think of them, but right now I know that it was for the best.

These people might not have been perfect for me and I might not have been perfect for them, but they are for someone else as I am for someone.

Maybe it is the New Year or it's just me finally reaching forward to become who I always wanted to be.
My main goal was to read and try to do more things that make my artistic mind flow freely.
I am astonished by how much more I am reading, how much more I am drawing (even if it's just doodles). Still, I would like to have more guts to write and publish something!

Also my confidence is in the heights right now, which means that I am confident in my skin, no matter what I wear, how my hair looks or if I gain weight. If I like myself the way I am, then that’s what really matters.

Recently I have also cut my hair to a pixie cut and I love it!

I have evolved; I am optimistic, nicer, but not naive.

Everyone deserves respect and happiness.
As do I, so do you!
You are a beautiful, smart, sparkling cookie!
Let’s try our best, to be who we want and deserve to be!

My new adventures as a teacher

Never in my life did I imagine that one day, my purpose in life would be teaching children.
Don't get me wrong, I love children and they adore me to the core.
It was just, that throughout the years and me growing up, I might have forgotten myself and the person that I wanted to be.

There were a lot of negative people and experiences in my life, so I might have developed certain insecurities, which led me to feeling not worthy in teaching or even trying to teach.

Thanks to my inner strength and the people around me, I have found the will to at least try. I was not disappointed!

I met three lovely mothers and their adorable children. The mothers, my boss and me, we drank some lovely fruit tea  and discussed how they imagined, me teaching their children will be like.Afterwards it seems, that they have taken a liking to me and that has made me overjoyed.

I might have noticed the children peeking into the kitchen and smiled at them, which they interpreted as a sign "she wants to play with us". The eldest girl, pulled me by my sleeve and decided that I must play with them.

It was wonderful, I felt like Mary Poppins. We sang, we danced and laughed, talked about silly things and about learning. Right away they told me that I was their Fairy Godmother and that they wish to see me as soon as possible.

I might have already given my heart to these children. They have motivated me to become the best teacher they ever had. I hope that I can teach them with a lot of patience, love and fun.

You will be hearing more of my experiences with those charming children and me transforming into Mary Poppins!

Lots of love,
